On February 2nd, 2011, Alexandra Pietra Duffy earned her wings to heaven. She had been battling lung cancer for over a year, never complaining, always with a smile on her face comforting others around her.

February 2, 2011 after battling non-smoking lung cancer for over a year, Pietra Duffy earned her wings to heaven. A more than, wonderful wife, mother and friend she will be greatly missed. A fundraiser to help Shawn Duffy and his two beautiful children, Spencer and Savannah, adjust to life without Pietra physically with them.

Pietra’s Village and the Cameron Park community is trying to help Shawn stay home with his precious kids as long as possible so they may start the healing process and learn to adjust to life without Pietra physically with them.
